The Te Anau Glowworm Caves location can be confusing on a map because the attraction and the departure point are separated by Lake Te Anau. For the RealNZ tour, go to the visitor centre on the Te Anau lakefront. The operator checks you in there and carries you by boat to the cave system on the western shore.
Save the town address for navigation and treat your booked departure time as a boat time. Arriving at the correct building after boarding has closed can mean missing the tour even though you are already in Te Anau.
